The installation are brand new, the rooms are clean, the service is ready and the breakfast is very good. I recommend to all who are passing by Lages. There are options near to lunch or dinner (burger gourmet, gas station with convenience store). Internet in the room did not work, although I warned the reception, however nothing was done. The breakfast was OK I might consider great as compared to other IBIS. The location is great, close to restaurants, supermarkets, near to downtown Lages. Recommend to all that travel by Lages. Even so I ask a few days in advance, they told me they would not refund me any money. It was my fault I book 5 days, not the hotel fault. Mold on the walls (room number 453), which was disgusting. The bathroom feels old - this is usual in Ibis hotels, though. Its location is not that good. Front desk staff was very nice and welcoming. This person could not leave the reception and so not prepare the dinner until the another person arrives. This problem delayed the dinner for 50 minutes, one hour. The hotel is modern and facilities fine. There was good AC, frio-bar, and WIFI. Price was as advertised, (about US$ 75). Breakfast was not included but was available for an additional US$ 6. My only complaint was that the staff was not at all friendly or helpful in obtaining directions or providing a local map.
