The staff was polite and efficient; it's situated in a lovely neighborhood, with many options of restaurants and stores close by. The citys main attractions aren't far away either. However, I believe it would be perfect if the fare included breakfast as well. But, overall, it's definitely the hotel I would choose again when visiting Curitiba. Location of hotel provides great walking opportunities to local parks and several large malls. If you want to take the bus , the bus stop for main line travel is located several minutes away from hotel. A large grocery store is located only minutes away. Coming from the US to visit my partner's family, and making the reservations from internet pictures can be fairly chancy. You always see great pictures but don't really know if you can expect everything you see. In this case, the hotel lived up to and exceeded all expectations.We had an Executive Suite (Room 2004) for an initial 5 nights, then added 3 more nights to our room and rented two more Executive Suites (Rooms 2001 and 2005) as well as a Superior Room (1902) for family members who joined us for a long weekend visit.From the start of our week, through the weekend with our family, the staff and service could not have been more accommodating. Everyone at the desk was very friendly, helpful, and polite. They made suggestions for places to eat, nearby gyms, a laundry service, and any of our multitude of other day to day searches and needs. All our questions were answered in detail, with offers for further clarification if needed. My limited Portuguese was not a problem as everyone spoke English and went out of their way to ensure that I understood. When my partner spoke to them in Portuguese and had to take time to translate for me, they patiently waited and accommodated all of my follow up questions. and there were many. We were paying for and organizing the stay for our entire family and there were many details for breakfasts, dinners, luggage, check-in process, etc that needed attention. In situations where we were presented with conflicting or confusing information, the hotel staff and manager quickly addressed the concerns, allowing for adjustments in our favor in any misunderstandings that took place.The rooms were spacious, spotless, and offered all the amenities we could ask for and need for our family. On days when family members who lived nearby visited with us at the hotel, they were just as graciously treated and accommodated. The location was perfect for sightseeing, near busses and easy walking to access anywhere else in the city we wanted to go.I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a very comfortable, modern, easily accessible and located hotel for a stay in Curitiba, and we look forward to the next stay we can arrange in the area with our family, and definitely at this hotel. No matter when I called, I was able to find an English speaking staff member, which was very nice as my Portuguese is fairly limited. The rooms were very nice, clean and well stocked with helpful incidentals; I forgot my toothbrush and was pleased to find one in the bathroom. The room came with a supposedly full service kitchen. They had a small 2 burner stove, sink, and microwave,but we were disappointed that there were no utensils or cookware available. It wasn't really a fully equipped kitchen, but we made it work.We did enjoy our stay, the in room heaters were helpful to take off the chill of the rooms.
